Дитер Карл Васшаузен (нем. Dieter Carl Wasshausen^[1] или нем. Dieter Wasshausen^[2], 1938) — американский ботаник немецкого происхождения.

Биография

Дитер Карл Васшаузен родился в 1938 году^[1] в Йене.

В 1962 году Васшаузен получил степень бакалавра, а в 1965 году — степень магистра^[2]. В 1972 году Дитер Карл получил степень доктора философии в Университете Джорджа Вашингтона^[2]. Он внёс значительный вклад в ботанику, описав множество видов растений^[3].

Научная деятельность

Дитер Карл Васшаузен специализируется на семенных растениях^[1].
