Universe People

Вселе́нные лю́ди (чешск. Vesmírní lidé sil světla) — чешское мистическое движение, во главе которого стоит Иво А. Бенда (чешск. Ivo A. Benda). Согласно идеям этого движения, в мире существуют внеземные цивилизации, установившие телепатический контакт с Бендой в октябре 1997 года, а позже явившиеся ему в физическом облике. Как утверждает Бенда, эти цивилизации управляют флотом космических кораблей под предводительством Аштара Шерана (другими культовыми фигурами для Вселенных людей являются Птааг и Иисус Христос), пристально наблюдают за тем, что происходит на земле и через некоторое время перенесут своих последователей в другое измерение. Идеи, лежащие в основе учения Вселенных людей, представляют собой гротескную смесь уфологии, религии (в частности христианства) и конспирологии (мир хотят захватить некие «ящерики»).

Критики считают Бенду и его наиболее активных сторонников психически больными людьми или рассматривают идеи Вселенных людей как наивные и абсурдные, а само его движение похожим на секту. Русскую версию их сайта (до крайности нелепую и безграмотную) многие пользователи Интернета воспринимают юмористически.
