The Presidents of the United States of America (сокращённо называемая Pot USA или PUSA) - Пост-гранж группа из Сиэтла, штат Вашингтон, США. Сформировалась в 1993 году. Басист и вокалист группы, Дэйв Дедерер, покинул её в 2004 году.

Группа была дважды номинирована на Грэмми.

  • Басист коллектива Крис Бэллоу играет исключительно на двуструнных гитарах, а "прожиточный минимум" первого гитариста группы Дэйва Дедерера составлял три струны.
  • Как рассказывали сами музыканты, прибывший вместо Дедерера Эндрю МакКиг (перед записью альбома "These Are Good Times People")поначалу уперся и отказывался снимать "лишние" струны. В итоге Бэллоу лично срезал их кусачками прямо в гастрольном автобусе, пока МакКиг спал.
