Origins Spectral Interpretation Resource Identification Security Regolith Explorer (OSIRIS-REx) — проект американской межпланетной станции, предназначенной для доставки образцов грунта с астероида 1999 RQ36. Данная миссия была выбрана на конкурсной основе в рамках программы НАСА New Frontiers («Новые рубежи»). OSIRIS-REx — третья миссия в рамках этой программы, в финале она победила миссии MoonRise по доставке вещества из Бассейна Южного полюса — Эйткена на Луне и SAGE (англ. Surface and Atmosphere Geochemical Explorer) — посадочный аппарат для исследования поверхности Венеры[1]. Запуск станции запланирован на 2016 год. Достижение астероида и забор грунта состоится в 2019 году, а возвращение на Землю — в 2023 году. Стоимость миссии оценивается в 800 миллионов долларов[2].
