Australian Energy Market Operator

Австралийский Оператор Энергетического рынка (AEMO) — поставщик газа и рынка электроэнергии, выполняет также эксплуатационные функции, функции развития и планирования. Организация управляет энергорынком (NEM) и Викторианской газовой сетью связи. AEMO также решает споры на розничных рынках электроэнергии и газопотребления, наблюдая за этими розничными рынками в восточной и южной Австралии. Организация несет дополнительную ответственность за планирование электропотребления и краткосрочное планирование режима работы Торгового Рынка газа [1].

АЕМО начала работу 1 июля 2009 [2], заменяя собой несколько организаций, включая НЕММКО, VENCorp, ESIPC, REMCo (только функции SA), GMC и GRMO.
