A Light in the Dark — восьмой студийный альбом хеви-метал группы Metal Church, выпущенный 16 июля 2006 года в Германии, 19 июня в Европе и 27 июня в США.[2] Он был третьим и последним альбомом Metal Church c изображением крестообразной Gibson Explorer на обложке.

Обозреватель Allmusic Грег Прато прокомментировал этот альбом как «безошибочный», выпущенный Metal Church, несмотря на тот факт, что лишь Курт Вандерхуфт остался от состава, основавшего группу, из членов коллектива, участвоваших в записи альбома. Прато утверждал, что «A Light in the Dark» с лёгкостью ошибочно можно принять за выпуск трэш-метала 1980-х, подобно песням «A Light in the Dark» и «Beyond all Reason». Прато оценил уровень альбома на 3,5 балла из 5.[3]
