«The World is Gone» — дебютный альбом музыкального дуэта Various. Он вышел 17 июля 2006 года на британском независимом лейбле XL Recordings и выдержан в жанре дабстеп с элементами фолка.

Помимо элементов фолка, от остального дабстепа «The World is Gone» отличает обилие вокала, причём в большинстве своём именно женского, что на момент выхода альбома в принципе было не свойственно дабстеп-сцене. «Дабстеп, обёрнутый в бархат», как написал нью-йоркский Vice Magazine.

На альбоме присутствуют как абсолютно новые треки, так и ранее издававшиеся на собственном одноименном лейбле Various Production в виде виниловых синглов — оригинальные вокальные версии треков Hater и Sir, а также вокальные версии треков Today и Lost, изначально изданные в виде инструментальных версий тиражом по 100 экземпляров каждый перед самым выходом альбома.
