Village People — американская диско-группа, образованая в 1977 году французским композитором Жаком Морали и наиболее известная по своим хитам Macho Man, Y.M.C.A., Go West, In the Navy. Коллектив группы также очень запоминается своими сценическими костюмами, среди которых полицейский (Виктор Уиллис), индеец (Филип Роуз), ковбой (Рэнди Джонс), строительный рабочий (Дэвид Ходо), байкер (Гленн Хьюз) и морской пехотинец (Алекс Брайли). Первоначально создавалась как группа, ориентированая на гей-аудиторию, но со временем стала одним из самым популярных музыкальных коллективов конца 1970-х годов. В настоящее время общее количество проданных ими альбомов превысило 85 миллионов.
