The End of the Beginning (англ. Конец начала) — первый студийный альбом ирландской пост-рок группы God is an Astronaut, вышедший в 2002 году.
В 2004 году альбом была издана расширенная версия. Помимо оригинальных композиций на диск вошли видеоклипы на песни "The End of the Beginning", "From Dust to the Beyond" и "Coda", фото и лайв-mp3 с Oxegen Festival 2004, а также mp3 бонус-трек "NIWS".

В качестве названия альбома, вероятно, была использована фраза из известной цитаты премьер-министра Великобритании Уинстона Черчилля (Речь в резиденции лондонского лорд-мэра после сражения при Эль-Аламейне в Северной Африке, 10 ноября 1942 года):

(англ. The Germans have received back again that measure of fire and steel which they have so often meted out to others. Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.)
