Hootie & the Blowfish — американская рок-группа из Южной Каролины, которая играет мелодичный блюз-рок, легко доступный самому широкому кругу слушателей. Их дебютный альбом «Cracked Rear View» стал самым продаваемым альбомом 1995 года в США: было реализовано не менее 16 миллионов копий. Среди хитов c этого диска выделяется «Only Wanna Be with You», из-за которого разгорелся судебный спор с Бобом Диланом. В 1996 году группа была удостоена «Грэмми» в номинации «открытие года», однако их последующие записи не оправдали возлагавшихся на них надежд.
