Casus foederis

Ка́зус фэ́дэрис (лат. casus foederis) — буквально «случай договора», юридический термин, используемый для обозначения ситуации, требующей приступить к выполнению обязательств государства об оказании взаимной помощи по союзному договору. Нормы современного международного права предусматривают право каждого государства как на индивидуальную, так и на коллективную самооборону[1].
