Visual Concepts (полное название Visual Concepts Entertainment, Inc.) — американская компания, специализирующаяся на разработке и выпуске видеоигр для приставок. Основана в 1988 году. Изначально — независимая компания, позже — в партнёрстве с компанией Sega. В 2005 году Sega продала Visual Concepts и её дочернюю компанию Kush Games за 24 млн $ компании Take Two. После покупки Take Two 25 января 2005 года основала 2K Games, в составе которой Visual Concepts продолжает выпускать спортивные видеоигры для различных игровых систем.[1][2]

Игры Visual Concepts выходили на многих приставках и компьютерах с третьего поколения видеоигр по наши дни — Apple IIgs, Game Boy, SNES, Sega Genesis, PlayStation, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Xbox, GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, PSP, PlayStation 3, Wii, PC, Nintendo DS и iPhone/iPod. Наиболее известные игры компании — это различные спортивные симуляторы таких игр как хоккей (NHL 95, NHL 97), баскетбол (NBA 2K, NBA 2K12, College Hoops 2K7), бейсбол (Major League Baseball 2K10, Major League Baseball 2K11) и американский футбол (All-Pro Football 2K8, ESPN NFL 2K5). Первую игру такого жанра компания выпустила ещё в 1994 году году для Super Nintendo — симулятор американского футбола Madden NFL '94. Среди известных неспортивных игр — аркадная головоломка Trog!, файтинг ClayFighter и платформер Claymates, боевик-симулятор вертолёта Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf, файтинг Weaponlord, action-боевики One и Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer и другие.[3][1][2][4]
