Usplash — свободное программное обеспечение, разработанное сообществом Ubuntu, которое заменяет стандартный загрузчик ядра Linux на графическую заставку. USplash работает в пользовательском пространстве, он может быть обновлён без перекомпиляции ядра.

Usplash использует интерфейс Linux framebuffer или, напротив, прямой доступ к VESA для отображения заставки.

В Ubuntu 9.10 Usplash используется только в предварительных этапах загрузки, после чего запускается XSplash. Начиная с Ubuntu 10.04 Usplash был полностью заменён загрузчиком Plymouth.
