Confide - американская пост-хардкор группа из Лос-Анджелес, Калифорния, сформированная в 2004 году. Выпустили три мини и два полноценных альбома. 4 октября 2010 года группа объявила о своем роспуске во время тура в Японии. После возвращения из Японии сыграли свой прощальный концерт 7 ноября 2010 года.

31 августа 2012 года стало известно, что группа воссоединяется для записи нового альбома, примерная дата выхода которого - декабрь 2012 года.

История

Формирование и первые альбомы (2004–2006)

Группа была образована в августе 2004 года, основателями которой стали Aaron Van Zutphen, Jason Pickard и Josh Plesh. После чего они стали искать новых участников в молодежную группу. Pickard дружил с Billy Pruden, в то время как Pruden и Zutphen знали Jeffr Helberg. Пятером они и начали свою деятельность. На тот момент они уже выпустили два мини альбома; Innocence Surround и Introduction.

К концу 2006 года вокалист Josh Plesh покинул группу. На его место пришел Ross Michael Kenyon. Kenyon родился и вырос в Европе и переехал в Соединенные Штаты, чтобы быть со своей девушкой и в то же время, пытался найти группы, в которые требуется вокалист. После общения с Helberg, Kenyon стал участником Confide. Вся группа переехала в его дом, где они начали репетировать. Это изменение в составе повлияло на сдвиг жанра группы в сторону металкора, практически забыв дэт-метал.

В 2007 году Kenyon был вынужден вернуться в Англию и снова начать выступать в Penknifelovelife, сделав в Confide перерыв. После одного тура он заявил на странице Myspace группы, что навсегда уходит из Penknifelovelife в Confide.
