Ordinal Name — российская рок-группа. Основателем группы является Алекс Макс Кон. Группа была основана в Ростове-на-Дону в 2007 году. Активную деятельность начала вести после становления основного состава в 2009 году.

Биография

Группа Ordinal Name бала основана вскоре после распада панк-группы Cerx — первой группы, в которой Алекс Макс Кон участвовал в качестве вокалиста. Сначала называлась «Machine Age», позже название было изменено на окончательное «Ordinal Name». За время существования в группе было 4 состава. Эволюция звучания хорошо заметна благодаря активной политике Ordinal Name по изданию своих архивов. С приходом Артура Арапова в качестве лидер-гитариста, группа приобретает сформированное звучание и начинает записывать первый альбом.

Интернет-релиз спродюсированного Максом Коном дебютного альбома, получившего название The White War, состоялся 15 мая 2010 года. В музыке группы Кона заметно влияние Depeche Mode и Nine Inch Nails. Тексты песен в большей степени в сатирических тонах посвящены человеческим порокам, насилию, часто имеют отсылки к теме Апокалипсиса и религии.
