HMS Sultan

Четыре корабля и три береговых базы Королевского флота носили название HMS Sultan (султан).

  • шхуна, закуплена в 1768, продана в 1773.
  • HMS Sultan — 74-пушечный линейный корабль 3 ранга; спущен на воду в 1775, превращен в плавучую тюрьму в 1797. Переименован в HMS Suffolk в 1805, разобран в 1816.
  • плавучую казарму в 1860, разобран в 1864.
  • броненосец; спущен на воду в 1870. Переименован в HMS Fisgard IV в 1906; снова в Sultan в 1932, одновременно превращен в учебный корабль. Отправлен на слом в 1946.


  • военно-морская база в Сингапуре; вступила в строй в 1940, вместо HMS Terror. Заброшена после падения Сингапура в 1942.
  • Госпорт, там же находится Электро-механический колледж Министерства обороны. В строю с 1956.
