HMS Hercules

Пять кораблей Королевского флота носили название HMS Hercules, или HMS Hercule, в честь греко-римского мифологического героя Геркулеса. Еще один был спущен на воду, но в состав флота не входил:

  • HMS Hercules — 74-пушечный линейный корабль 3 ранга; спущен на воду в 1759; продан в 1784.
  • броненосец; спущен на воду в 1868; использовался на рейдовой службе с 1881, как плавучая казарма с 1905; переименован в HMS Calcutta в 1909; в HMS Fisgard II в 1915; продан в 1932.
  • линкор типа авианосец типа Majestic; спущен на воду в 1945, не достроен; продан Индии в 1957; вступил в строй в 1961 как INS Vikrant; выведен из активного состава в 1997; открылся как корабль-музей в 2001.
