HTTP Time Protocol

Как и NTP позволяет синхронизировать локальное время с интернетом. Работает под *nix, точность хуже, чем у NTP, но при этом не задействует порт UDP 123, запрашивая время из заголовков страниц по http. Из-за этого работает всегда, в том числе если локальная машина отгорожена от интернета файерволом или прокси (proxy) сервером.
