«The Only» (в переводе с англ. Единственное) — это первый сингл индастриал-метал группы Static-X из их третьего альбома Shadow Zone, который был выпущен 7 октября 2003 года.[1]. Особенной чертой песни является её индивидуальный характер. Эта песня отличается от предыдущих песен Static-X тем что содержит меньшее количество ударных партий и отличается мелодией и постановкой вокала. Сингл «The Only» был выпущен 2 сентября 2003 года.[2]

Клип

Видео клип был снят режиссёром П. Р. Брауном. В видео клипе он показывает группу, которая играет в стенах закрытой комнаты, стены которой во время исполнения песни медленно поднимаются и за ними оказываются толпы поклонников, которые пытаются пролезть в комнату где играет группа.[3]

Саундтрек

Песня The Only звучит в игре Need For Speed Underground, хотя в Need For Speed Underground слова «My Heaven, Your Hell» были заменены на «I'm winning, you're losing» (аналогично и в клипе), на PC версии игры True Crime: Streets of LA и в MTV Music Video Awards в 2003 году как музыкальный фон для речи диктора.
