Tailenders (яп. テイルエンダーズ тэйруэнда:дзу?, «Севшие на хвост») — научно-фантастическое аниме 2009 года.

История

Предварительная версия аниме была представлена на кинофестивале в Саппоро в 2009 году, а 27 ноября 2010 года уже демонстрировалась полная версия. 28 января 2011 года аниме было выпущено на DVD и Blu-ray-дисках. Над анимацией аниме команда из 4-х человек (Кавахара Масару, mebae, Оота Макото и Сасаки Такаси) работала 2 года.

Сюжет

На далёкой планете, некогда считавшейся пригодной для существования людей, провалился процесс терраформирования. Теперь все люди живут в гигантских движущихся городах-машинах, а главное их развлечение — гонки. Томоэ Сиро — один из лучших профессиональных гонщиков, вследствие аварии не способный больше принимать участие в официальных гонках. Всё меняет встреча с Микагурой Томоэ, которая предлагает Сиро участвовать в самой опасной гонке.
