[ɒbʹnju:bıleıt] v книжн.
1) затуманивать, затемнять, заволакивать

to obnubilate the sun - затмить солнце

to obnubilate the mind - затуманить рассудок

vision obnubilated by fatigue - глаза плохо видят от усталости

2) вызвать потерю чувств, оцепенение

to obnubilate with drugs - притупить чувства и ощущения лекарствами, «оглушить» лекарствами
