Цвет побежалости.
Тонкая оксидная пленка (толщиной в несколько молекул) на поверхности металла, которая образуется в воздухе или слегка окислительной атмосфере во время отпуска при низкой температуре или в течение небольшого времени. Цвет (от соломенного до голубого) зависит от толщины оксидной пленки и изменяется как от времени отпуска, так и от температуры.
