Александр-Стопфорд (Catgott; 1692-1749) — английский писатель; написала "The Court of Love" (Оксфорд, 1717), "Conamen recuperandi noticiam veteris et verae philosophiae" (Лондон, 1738), "Sermons " (Лондон, 1752; неск. изданий) и др. Сын его Александр К. (1725-1779), геолог и богослов, написал: "Explanation of the Mosaic account of the creation and the formation of the world" (Бристоль, 1756-1768).
