User Generated Content

User-generated content, UGC, Consumer Generated Media, User created Content (контент, создаваемый пользователями) — различные виды публично доступного контента, который создаётся конечными пользователями, одно из базовых понятий в веб 2.0.

Термин начал широко использоваться в течении 2005 года. К User-generated content относятся базы данных вопросов-ответов, цифровое видео, блоги, подкасты, мобильная фотография и вики.
