Puyo Puyo, Aleste

Compile — японская компания, разработчик видеоигр. Основана Масамитсу Ниитани (Masamitsu Niitani, также известен как "Moo") в 1983 году под названием Programmers-3. Среди наиболее известных игр компании — франчайз Puyo Puyo и скролл-шутеры Aleste, Guardian Legend и Zanac. Компания выпускала игры для разных платформ и известна по активной поддержке компьютеров стандарта MSX и игровой консоли PC Engine.

В 2002 году компания обанкротилась. Бывшие сотрудники создали несколько собственных компаний. Aiky опубликовала последнюю игру Compile, Pochi and Nya. Milestone Inc. специализируется на выпуске игр в жанре скролл-шутера для аркадных игровых автоматов. Compile Heart пытается восстановить бренд, при участии основателя Compile.
