Debunk (дибáнк, в пер. с англ. разоблачать, развенчивать) — французская группа, исполняющая рок в широком смысле слова.

Биография

Группа была сформирована в 2008 году и за короткое время несколько раз сменила состав.

Название группы появилось в результате того, что один из участников коллектива взял английский словарь, бросил его на пол, и тот открылся на странице с буквой D, где и было выбрано слово Debunk. Оказалось, что слово, в общем-то, имеет смысл, легко запоминается, звучит неплохо, поэтому было решено оставить именно его.

Сами музыканты не могут точно определить стиль своей музыки, скорее это смешение нескольких стилей — рока, альтернативного рока, метала.

Альбомы

В настоящее время группа активно работает над записью своего первого альбома «Acts & Consequences». Первоначально планировалось, что он увидит свет в начале 2011 года, однако выпуск альбома несколько раз откладывался. Продюсером альбома является Мэтью Тоси (Matthieu Tosi), ранее работавший с коллективами Mary Has a Gun и Cupofly.

В июле 2010 года Debunk выпустили видео на песню «Deep Inside» с будущего альбома. В апреле 2012 года группа выпустила ещё один клип на песню «Bite The Hand That Feeds You»
