Об альбоме

Первый ограниченный тираж альбома не имел логотипа группы на буклете, но версия для винила и повторное издание на компакт-диске уже имели логотип Destruction. Day of Reckoning первый альбом для их нового барабанщика Vaaver[1]. Первое выступление группы получилось многообещающим для олдскульных фанатов, более бурный и скоростной альбом, чем D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N., который более близок к «возвращению к корням». 18 декабря 2010 года, в Португалии, они сыграли «Hate Is My Fuel» впервые.
