Собственники и руководство

Фонд принадлежит Юрию Мильнеру, Григорию Фингеру и Алишеру Усманову. В апреле 2010 года было объявлено о продаже 10,26 % в компании DST Ltd., контролирующей российский бизнес Digital Sky Technologies, крупнейшей китайской интернет-компании Tencent за $300 млн[1].

Главный управляющий — Юрий Мильнер, президент — Григорий Фингер[2].

Деятельность

В активах фонда находятся доли в интернет-проектах Zynga, Mail.ru, Одноклассники.ru, В Контакте, Facebook, OE Investments, Astrum Online Entertainment, Headhunter.ru, Freelance.ru, ICQ.

Летом 2008 года фонд получил контрольный пакет акций (50,55 %) акций Mail.Ru, после покупки 15-процентного пакета акций у Tiger Global Management[3].

27 мая 2009 года Digital Sky Technologies приобрела 1,96 % привилегированных акций социальной сети Facebook, заплатив 200 миллионов долларов[3]. Затем DST увеличила долю в Facebook до 5 %[4]

28 апреля 2010 года фонд заключил соглашение с AOL о приобретении сервиса мгновенных сообщений ICQ. Сумма сделки составила 187,5 миллионов американских долларов.[5]
