Argiope  (лат.) (по имени нимфы Аргиопы) — род аранеоморфных пауков из семейства Araneidae. Включает около 80 видов, распространённых по всему свету[1]. В их числе — Argiope bruennichi, Argiope keyserlingi, Argiope trifasciata, Argiope savignyi и аргиопа дольчатая (Argiope lobata).
