Обозначение, заимствованное у индийских грамматиков, для характеристики сложных слов, называемых также притяжательными (см. притяжательный) и обладающих свойством выражать тот род отношения, который наблюдается, например, между составными частями санскритского слова bahu- (обильный) –vrīhi (рис) «богатый рисом».
