Медь, полученная рафинированием и электролитическим осаждением, включая катоды, являющиеся прямым продуктом операции рафинирования. Получение отливок из расплавленных катодов и вытягивания из расплава промышленных изделий. Обычно, когда этот термин используется как единственный, имеется в виду электролитический твердый медный осадок без примесей других элементов и незначительных количеств оксидов.
