Усадка отливки.
Изменения размеров на единицу длины отливки, после ее затвердевания в изложнице или форме и охлаждения до комнатной температуры после извлечения из изложницы или формы. Различают три различных типа усадки отливки. Усадка в жидком состоянии - это уменьшение объема металла при заливке в форму и до начала его затвердевания. Усадка при затвердевании - уменьшение объема металла от начала до конца затвердевания. Твердая усадка - уменьшение объема металла после затвердевания до охлаждения до комнатной температуры.
